I am Susan Angelle

I am a professional photographer in Louisiana. My work as one of the go-to photographers in Opelousas, Louisiana began in 2012, but I have always been passionate about taking pictures. I might not remember the first camera I owned as a young girl, but I remember what it felt to own it and take pictures. It was my prized possession, full of memories and secrets.

Other girls wrote in journals while I had my camera to capture everything. I could take pictures of anything, from my family's smiling faces to the dirt on my boots to my friends asking me not to take pictures. Wonderful how with an easy push of a button, I can photograph all these moments.

That experience stuck with me until today. I might take better pictures than that young teenage girl these days, but I still possess that innocence inside me. The awe and wonder whenever I capture photographs never went away

My style has developed since then. I learned to take pictures that have a vibrant personality, which my clients love. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing the look on their faces when they see the photos I took.
